Budget 2012

On 16th Honourable Finance Minister Mr. Pranab Mukherjee has been presented the Union budget of India on Parliament for UPA government for straight 7th times house.

Congress always emphasis on the word their election symbol is always with general people. This budget shows that they don’t have anything in mind to develop the people of India by anyhow. They want to keep focus on those thing how we can keep those illiterate people as illiterate that means they don’t want to develop the mindset of Indian People. This is very ridiculous that how they can think so much cheap.

This is the reflection of Assembly election in UP, if they won in UP than they can think some bigger package for UP, some good package to Indian Farmer to keep in mind UP. They have always in mind that they have 3 more years to face general election of India. So they don’t fear to take some bold decision in context of raising the Sales Taxes in 2%. It makes costlier all essential commodities. Because it will always summed up with all things which needs carrier.

Everywhere they can rise anything from 0.01% to 2-3% they rise to make the money to implement much awaited Food Security Bill i.e. dream of Honourable UPA chairperson Mrs. Gandhi. This is ridiculous they are making the plan, but never see the future of India. What happen to NREGA, there are lot of corruption news are coming around the country. What about the NRHM scam, politicians are making money in the name of implementing these Plans in their respective states. There are no matter where they are from it means which states. They all have some most corrupted people in their respective states and they always tried to keep their CM’s on their toe. Mr Akhilesh Yadav, youngest chief minister of UP include Mr Raja Bhaiya in their team of ministers. When He sacked Mr DP Yadav everyone thinking that he has courage to clean up the politics of SP, but what happen.

So come to the point, what about the Union Budget 2012. Mr Mukherjee fully focussed on everywhere he can make money to get the rid of fiscal deficit that is going up and up year by year. But we will see what happen is there any progress to decrease the fiscal deficit. They have nothing to do special I know but whenever if general people is talking about the Direct Taxes, there is nothing he has done, but if we go through with Indirect Taxes – Mr Mukherjee has all eyes and keep everything should be higher than last year. If any finance minster reshuffling anything into Direct Tax than everyone will know. But if FM making reshuffle into Indirect Tax than very less people will know how they are going to pay to government and by which way. But Indirect Tax is the area where any government making money to run their annual budge smoothly.

If finance advisory committee proposes the increase the Income Tax slab to Rs. 3 Lacs and Investment upto Rs 3.2 Lacs than why not he think about this. He just increase Rs. 20,000 only. What he thinks this the money that general people can save or this can help by any way to any of those general people whose annual income is just Rs 3.6 Lacs or more. If we can calculate by deducting Rs 2 Lacs from Rs 3.6 Lacs, he will have Rs 1.4 Lacs in which he will save Rs 1 Lac by investing in different sector, Now he has Rs 6,000 to pay tax that will be 10% of Rs. 60,000.

Happy Teacher’s Day

The great philosopher, Dr S. Radhakrishnan said that a university is what its teachers make it. In the ancient universities in India, the teachers or professors as they are called today were treated with great respect though, unlike at present, they did not get good pay and perks.

Teacher’s Day in India is celebrated every year on 5th September, ever since 1962. The day commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a philosopher and a teacher par excellence, and also the first Vice President of India and the second President of India. Some students approached him to celebrate his birthday and he asked them to honor their teachers instead. Dr Radhakhrishnan believed that “teachers should be the best minds in the country”. Whether that is true or not in modern India is a contentious issue. Every day millions of parents hand over their children to teachers to mould and shape as they see fit. The authority and power invested in the teacher is immense. Do they measure up to that responsibility? Does the system encourage for the “best minds in the country” to enter the profession of teaching? These are difficult questions with no clear answers. But what is clear is the role of the teacher and the potential in that responsibility. And who can articulate that better than a life long teacher?

I congratulate all my teachers who shaped me from childhood on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. I respect each and every one who contributed in my life from all aspects. Happy Teacher’s Day to all teachers in world and hope they will give their best result to make the society more civilized.

Is people is bigger than parliament?

I am happy that Anna Hazare’s fast ends today and that both sides have reached some of understanding.

Anna achievements are really a historic. He managed to one of the most unapproachable governments into positive action. Anna fast changes in the youth’s hearts. He also started the much-needed process of restoring good values in Indian people. Many of us are still corrupt, whether forced by the system or otherwise. That part just became stronger. This mass booster shot of morality is the biggest contribution of the movement.

Of course, these achievements did come at a cost. We saw a relatively long period of unsettling process. We saw unpleasant human qualities and over aggressiveness on both sides, out for public display. In an ideal world, people would be reasonable, and irrespective of their position. However, we live in a far from ideal world, and given the circumstances. This time, our youth did not come on to streets to hurt people from another caste or religion. They came to simply demand a more fair and just society, in a peaceful manner. It is a proud moment for all of us. India’s class of 2011 is different, and a salute to all those who have participated in various ways whether it is online or offline. Their significance is very important to partially success of this movement.

Yes I am saying it is partially success because the bill will now goes to under the standing committee of parliament for further discussion. Where we have seen members like Mr. Lalu Prasad Yada, Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan various others will listen all aspects of bill than they will recommend what they think is right.

However, i was shocked, and disheartened by the criticism of Anna from certain sections of the English-speaking Indian intellectual circles especially from the ministry of Government of India’s English speaking ministers. If the elite had backed Anna stronger, we could have had a faster and better consensus. But they backed Anna by Online off-course, these support also give the strengthen to the movement. Of course, people have a right to an opinion.

The strongest anti-Anna argument was that Parliament cannot justify by its strong discussion about how they can save the parliament from hijack by people. There is no doubt that Parliament and the Constitution are important and to be respected. However, these work on a basic assumption -confidence of the people. If confidence is lost, the institution does not work. And that is what we have to restore in Parliament now, before we ask people to respect it. If parliamentarians want to respect the people of their parliament than they should first respect their responsibilities and duties first. People always see how they work in parliament. When Anna started his fast there is no any party had come and said that yes Anna is right and we are going to support. After 12 days of fast they don’t have choice then they had come to conclusion that ok no problem just send the bill to standing committee and then we have the power to modify as per our convenience.

Lying is something politicians got away with for a long time. It came at the cost of losing people’s trust. A good Lokpal Bill will actually bring back people’s trust in the government. In fact, the government needs a Lokpal Bill almost more than the people. It also needs to be more open and approachable. Party spokespersons need to be people with personal conviction, who place what is right above the party, even if it means accepting mistakes. After seeing the instances like Raja, Nadia, Kanimonjhi, Kalmadi, Maran were sent to Tihar jail after convicted into corruption our honourable prime minister always said that this is the coalition government politics. So after Lokpal bill our prime minister will place them in situation like this.

And while we love telling politicians how to do their job, we as citizens have to do our job first to casting a good candidate to send him to parliament. We can’t vote for candidates only because they are from a particular caste, religion or region. We have to place only one criterion – is he a good person? When we all send capable, honest people to Parliament, the trust and respect will return.

So the basics we got from this movement is that youths come forward to support Anna from all parts of country and one of most significance part of this movement was there is no any violence has been occurs. These messages also convey to our politicians that when they try to make agitate for any issue they never kept it a non-violent.

Anna vs Indian government

Anna is the person who is the second in Indian history who inspired Indian youth to fight for your future after JayPrakash Narayanan. Now the movement against corruption in Indian history done by so much corrupted politician from India. Corruption in India is not only in political blood but also in from all level of bureaucracy.
But this movement is not for only black money in Switzerland but also the corruption involved in all aspect of Indian life.
Come to the point why government has did low level act against Mr. Anna Hazare. This could be the one of most shameful act has been done by honorable prime minister Mr. Manmohan Singh’s government. Specially congress spokesman Mr. Manish Tiwari is the kind of person who will not be respected by any more in India. And same as Tiwari there are lot of people around PM like Mr.Kapil Sibal, Mr.P Chidambram, Mr. Virappa Moily, Mr. Subodh Kant Sahai, Mr. S M Krishna, Mr. Pranav Mukherjee, Mr. Salman Khurshid and Mr.A K Antony. The above people are English speaking people who understand little bit of Hindi-The national language is speaking by half of Indian. This means that half of the Indians cannot understand what these people are speaking and whom they are trying to address and all the people I have mentioned above as PM’s Team is a good lawyer than a politician. Because all above are lawyer in Supreme Court of India. One of major note of these person’s life is that they started their career in politics as elected in Rajya Sabaha(Upper House of Parliament). Very few people in this country know this that Mr. Kapil Sibal always speaking against the Bihari’s, but this person has been started his career in politics after elected in Rajya Sabha from Bihar.

So these people are not interacted so much in publicly in India so how they can address the people’s motivation towards corruption free India. If India becomes corruption free than how they will run their business i.e lawyer. Government has been misleading by the people who never known for his people interaction in public domain, they are always keep themselves in AC Cabin and deal with high lever of business portfolios.

Lokpal Bill demand vs Indian Government

Civil society’s battle against corruption acquired its sharpest edge ever on Tuesday as veteran social activist Anna Hazare began a fast unto death at the capital’s landmark Jantar Mantar demanding greater public role in the Anti-Corruption Bill (Lokpal Bill), which has now been considered and put aside by successive regimes for the last 42 years.

Hazare wants the Lokpal’s office to subsume the CVC so that both political leaders and officials come under its ambit as well as the judiciary. He also wants the Lokpal to have police powers — that is, to not just be a recommendatory body but an effective office that can file FIRs, chargesheet the accused and file cases. Hazare and other activists have been demanding for the Prime Minister’s Office to come within the ambit of the Lokpal.

Thousands of people, including students, teachers, artistes, retired government officers and activists, joined Anna at Jantar Mantar to lend him support. On the Net, support for Anna is already a viral movement. Unless the government concedes to the demand, this support is only likely to grow.

The Jan Lokpal bill aims at making decisions of the state and Central Lokayuktas binding and final. The Lokpal is envisaged to have powers to dismiss corrupt officials, including judges and politicians. Many in the government feel the Lokpal should be limited to making recommendations.

Cutting across the political divide, thousands came out to support Hazare’s fast and the Jan Lokpal Bill. Students, farmers and social activists waved the Indian flag and held up placards in support of the bill at the protest site.

Scams like 2G and Commonwealth Games, people have lost faith in the state. “Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and other freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence. But power-hungry and corrupt politicians continue to exploit us. The RTI Act has given us a tool to get information hitherto not available but to punish those involved in such massive corruption a tough law is required which is not tailor-made to suit the needs of politicians.

It is a pity that an asset of the country — Anna Hazare — has to die for our criminal politicians and their vested interests. Prime Minister should not turn a blind eye towards corruption in his government and should muster the courage to not succumb to the pressures of coalition politics.
